Malta: PTL Ltd, the IT and security solutions company, has donated the proceeds from the sale by auction of office furniture to Dar il-Kaptan.
PTL is a committed benefactor of Dar il-Kaptan, supporting its sterling work among families caring for vulnerable people. All employees at PTL pledge a monthly donation to the charity that is later matched by the company.
After vacating its premises in Mriehel last October to move to Nineteen Twenty Three in Marsa, PTL put up all the office furniture for auction to raise funds for the foundation for respite care services.
The proceeds were added to monies raised during quarterly dress down days and the monthly contributions.
“We admire the team at Dar il-Kaptan and its work to make the lives of families caring for loved ones with special needs a little easier,” PTL’s chief executive Kenneth Spiteri said. “PTL is happy to support such remarkable people.”
Dar il-Kaptan enables people to continue to care for loved ones with special needs in the family home and within the community by providing respite breaks in a healthy and self-fulfilling environment. These breaks give primary carers of vulnerable people much-needed rest.
Since last October PTL’s 100-plus Malta team has been based at Nineteen Twenty Three in Valletta Road, Marsa. Nineteen Twenty Three is the headquarters of Hili Ventures Ltd, the international group PTL joined in 2012.
